How I Helped Interlink Therapy Create a Warm, Inviting Website

Interlink Therapy Solutions is a unique allied health practice that offers a range of services, including physiotherapy, podiatry, children’s services, mental health support, and more.

Their vision? To create a one-stop shop for clients that feels warm and welcoming—far from the clinical atmosphere many might expect from a healthcare provider.

I had the pleasure of bringing that vision to life by designing a website that feels like a calm, holistic space, not a sterile clinic. Here’s how we did it.

The Challenge: Designing a Non-Clinical Experience

The main challenge for Interlink Therapy was to reflect their services in a way that felt inviting, holistic, and approachable, while still ensuring the website was functional and informative for potential clients. They didn’t want the site to feel like a typical healthcare site—cold or overly corporate—but rather like a sanctuary where clients could feel comfortable and cared for.

They also had a beautifully designed brand in place, which made my job much easier. But the key was translating that brand into a cohesive online experience that resonated with both existing clients and new visitors starting their wellness journey.

The Solution: Organic Design and a Smart SEO Strategy

The colours and imagery were crucial in creating the warm, inviting feel Interlink Therapy was after. We leaned heavily into native Australian plant motifs, such as eucalyptus, grevilleas, and wattle, with each service represented by its own plant icon 🌿. These natural, flowing shapes helped soften the design and bring a sense of calm to the user experience.

Beyond the design, we had to think strategically about SEO. A smart keyword approach was essential to help Interlink Therapy show up in search results for potential clients. But weaving those keywords into the copy had to feel natural and conversational—not like a hard sales pitch. We focused on the kinds of terms and phrases that users would search for when looking for allied health services, making sure the content felt clear, simple, and approachable for visitors, especially those just beginning their wellness journey.
